IMS offers a powerful report generating software feature. It will pull data (Index information) from the IMS database and arrange it in a more meaningful format.  Charts can be added to make complex information more understandable.  Maps can be used to display geographic information (sales by state etc).  The records can be sorted to display only the information you want to include.  The records can be grouped into relevant groups.  IMS Index data can be combined with other information and put into a single report.
